The breath of the gods
When a country like Portugal is going through a serious social crisis, with very low salaries at all levels (doctors, teachers, inflation, unsustainable high interest rates on housing loans) and internal discouragement, at the same time as there are daily protests from everyone sectors, the press is concerned with intrigues, permanent interviews with commentators, often inexperienced.
Most people who dedicate themselves to earning a living through effective work no longer have the patience to turn on television, especially because the monitoring of the two terrible wars with very serious situations has disappeared from the screens, replaced by rubbish.
I hope that the gods come down to Portugal and sweep away with a strong blow the useless, the radical, the incompetent, the unnecessary and above all the boring.
